Spanish II builds on the foundation established in Spanish I and continues to develop language naturally using a comprehensible input approach. The class is taught primarily in Spanish and remains interactive, engaging, and low-stress, with a strong focus on understanding and communication. Students learn through stories, conversations, music, and engaging activities that make the language meaningful and memorable. As their confidence grows, students begin to respond with longer phrases and simple sentences, gradually expanding their spoken and written abilities. We use practical, real-world language, including simple daily prayers and worship songs, to help students grow in their ability to communicate about God in Spanish. Cultural topics are also woven throughout the course, helping students develop an appreciation and understanding of the Spanish-speaking world.
The following textbooks and supplies are to be purchased by parents.

Students will be expected to purchase a Spanish book or novel (approximately $10) for reading in class. Once the class selects the book together, I will provide parents with information about where to purchase it.

Successful completion of Spanish I or by permission of the instructor.
Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.
KEYS will invoice supply fees at the time of registration and class selection. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. It is a one-time fee, transferable until August, but non-refundable.
Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
