All KEYS Elementary Science classes are hands-on and interactive yet organized and structured to weave together an ideal homeschool enrichment experience for the students. Targeted for grades 4-5, students in Elementary Science 1: Earth Science will dive into the exciting realms of geology, astronomy, and meteorology using the Masterbooks edition of God’s Design for Heaven & Earth. From the innermost core of the Earth to the far reaches of outer space, we’ll learn about the beauty and wonder of God’s creation in an engaging, hands-on way. At-home assignments will consist of reading with short comprehension activities to ensure understanding, as well as assigned tests and projects. In-class instruction will include discussions of topics, demonstrations, experiments, and other fun activities.

Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.
KEYS will invoice supply fees at the time of registration and class selection. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. It is a one-time fee, transferable until August, but non-refundable.
Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
