Elementary Science Level I: Life Science Description

All KEYS Elementary Science classes are hands-on and interactive, yet organized and structured, to weave together an ideal homeschool enrichment experience for the students. Targeted for grades 4-5, students in Elementary Science 1: Life Science will learn about the worlds of both plants and animals, as well as study human anatomy and all the organ systems that keep us alive and well. At-home assignments will consist of reading with short comprehension activities to ensure understanding and assigned tests and projects. In-class instruction will include discussion of topics, demonstrations, experiments, and other fun activities.

Class Information

Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.

Supply fees are due to each teacher on the first day of class. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. They are a one-time fee.

Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
