This class uses a Judeo-Christian biblical lens to present a comprehensive overview of the dominant worldviews influencing Western Civilization, an examination of the inevitable conflicts that arise when those worldviews meet in the arena of ideas, and an analysis of each worldview's natural and predictable impact upon the individual and society. Specifically, students will examine how the tenets of the Christian worldview compare with five major competing worldviews of our day: Islam, Secularism, Marxism, New Spirituality, and Postmodernism. Students will study how the six worldviews apply to everyday life, including theology, philosophy, ethics, biology, psychology, sociology, law, politics, economics, and history. Students must successfully complete this class in their junior or senior year to participate in the KEYS graduation ceremony.

Students must be 16 years of age before the start of the academic year. Students who do not meet these requirements must seek instructor permission before admittance. Parents must have a at least one Canvas account with first and last name. Each student must have a unique Canvas account with first and last name. Student must have the tools to capture and upload assignments into Canvas.
Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.
Supply fees are due to each teacher on the first day of class. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. They are a one-time fee.
Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
