This class is for students who can play confidently in upper positions with good intonation and a mature tone. Students will be performing literature that is both challenging and fun. Private lessons are necessary at this level. Students in this ensemble are required to participate in KEYS Winter and Spring Concerts, community outreaches, and in the MOST.

Recommendation by Mrs. Bryan or by audition. All instrumentalists must have excellent playing position, intonation, and a mature tone. Audition requirements: Violin: 2 octave E-flat Major and 3 octave G Major scales, a prepared piece from at least Suzuki Book 4 or equivalent, and sight-reading. Viola and Cello: 2 octave A Major and F Major scales, a prepared piece from at least Suzuki Book 3 or equivalent, and sight-reading. Bass: 2 octave A and F Major scales, a prepared piece from at least Suzuki Book 3 or equivalent, and sight-reading.
Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.
Supply fees are due to each teacher on the first day of class. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. They are a one-time fee.
