MS Science B Description

This course introduces and explores the Scientific Method through various scientific topics. Middle School Science 1 for 2026-2027 will focus on the History of Science and Earth Sciences, including Astronomy, Geology, Oceanography, and Meteorology. We will use the textbook as a guide, adding in extra information and activities to dive deeper into the topics. Class time will include hands-on experiments, demonstrations, lectures, and discussion. Homework assignments will focus on reading, comprehension activities, completing projects, and tests. Students will learn to see God’s hand in all areas we study.

There are no prerequisite courses.

Class Information

Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.

KEYS will invoice supply fees at the time of registration and class selection. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. It is a one-time fee, transferable until August, but non-refundable.

Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
