Elem/MS US History and Geography Description

This course is for students in grades 5-7 who need to either build a foundation in US History or want to learn even more about our great nation. Students will journey from the early Native American cultures and European exploration to the founding of the United States and its growth into a modern nation. Through interactive lessons, map studies, and hands-on projects, students will gain a deep understanding of key historical events, figures, and geographical influences that have shaped America. Students will also explore how faith has influenced key leaders, movements, and decisions throughout US History. Biblical principles will be integrated throughout the course, emphasizing God's sovereign hand in history.

Class Information

Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.

KEYS will invoice supply fees at the time of registration and class selection. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. It is a one-time fee, transferable until August, but non-refundable.

Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
