HS Theatre Description

Theatre is the ultimate collaborative art - directors, designers, technicians, and actors all work together and serve one another with their talents, creating a work of art that will honor God! The students will be encouraged to master the discipline required to work as theatre artists. Students will memorize dramatic and comedic monologues that they can use for auditioning and learn acting and script analysis techniques as they participate in scenework with other students. We will even take some time to study some of the history of theatre before they perform and work backstage in a full-length production as the culminating group project.
