Physical Science A Description

Physical Science is a lab science designed as a precursor/entry-level high school science course. Modules include topics such as atmosphere, weather, earth’s structure, the physics of motions, and forces in nature. In addition, the course includes minor studies with roller coasters and rocketry. Some pre-algebra math skills are required for various modules. Please see the prerequisites below before signing up for this class.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of Pre-Algebra (or currently enrolled in Pre-Algebra)

Class Information

Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.

Supply fees are due to each teacher on the first day of class. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. They are a one-time fee.

Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
