This is a group ensemble course for students who have completed the Beginning Percussion class or already have had experience in percussion. This group will perform independently as well as with the Intermediate Band class. A certain level of percussion ability and music experience is required. Please contact the instructor if you have questions about whether you qualify. Students will learn intermediate percussion techniques on various percussion instruments and will perform in the KEYS Winter and Spring Concerts. Students do not need to own their own instruments but will be expected to have their own drum sticks and a practice pad. Instruments provided: concert snare drums, bass drum, cymbals, vibraphone, marimbas, glockenspiels, marching drum line drums, timpani, and other auxiliary percussion.

Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.
Supply fees are due to each teacher on the first day of class. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. They are a one-time fee.
Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
