Intermediate Band Description

Intermediate Band is for students who would like to expand their skills in flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, baritone, or trombone. Students will learn how to perform as an ensemble with solid balance and intonation. Students are expected to know how to assemble their instruments, use proper breathing techniques, sit with proper posture and playing position, and how to read music. This ensemble performs for KEYS Winter and Spring Samplers as well as events outside of KEYS in the spring. Students should be in at least 6th grade.
