Biology B Description

This General Biology class contains both lecture and laboratory work and will serve as a high school lab science course toward graduation. General Biology provides an introduction to the diversity of the life sciences and life itself within the context of a Biblical worldview. This two-day-a-week course provides a solid foundation of life science topics from the level of DNA and the cell to the level of the organism. The characteristics of organisms within the three domains (Bacteria, Archaea, and Eukarya) and the four kingdoms (Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia) will be studied in detail. Laboratory includes hands-on dissections as well as microscope study.
