Physical Science B Description

Designed as a precursor/entry-level high school Science course. Physical Science is a lab Science. Modules include topics such as Atmosphere, Weather, Earth’s structure, the Physics of Motions, and Forces in Nature. The course includes minor studies with Roller Coasters and Rocketry. Some minor Math is required for some modules. Please see the Prerequisites below.

Textbooks and Supplies

Exploring Creation with Physical Science, 2nd Edition, by Jay Wile
The students will also need the following supplies: a 3-ring binder (3"), several dividers, and sheet protectors (at least 100).

Prerequisites

General Science, Pre-Algebra (or in Pre-Algebra), or instructor approval

Class Information

Parents are responsible for purchasing all textbooks and supplies before the first day of class.

Supply fees are due to each teacher on the first day of class. This fee covers materials, lab supplies, and other expenses incurred by the teacher. They are a one-time fee.

Please note the grade level for this class. Students younger than the recommended grade levels need special permission before signing up for the class. Please contact the office for more information.
