This course is a continuation of ASL – Level 1 and the use of American Sign Language in communicating with the Deaf. Continued studies include ASL rules of grammar, syntax and semantics. Emphasis is directed towards the development of clear, conceptually accurate signing. Strategies include the study of ASL language structures, translating English into ASL, teaming games, vocabulary builders, DVD lessons and stories, deaf guest speakers, performances and outreach activities.
